Get your AP2.5/XGD3 backups working again after the silent DAE update.

Ok just to re clarify that the mw3 title update on this thread in the first page is giving me problems now. Like i stated there is a new title update available. I am from the united kingdom, thats pal for who dont know.
Just wanted to show this is no longer working for live with the title update but still boots the game.I have got the newest title update and that will not boot games and then gets the unsuported didk error.
Please before anyone flames this is a old xenon that got flagged by my youngest so, its about time he upgraded anyway.
I am going to ring m$ and complain about my origional's getting dirty disk and unsuported didk and see what may come of it, may be life left in that old xenon yet.

Just rang xbox support and said i was having issues playing mw3 and black op's. They are the games that got the unsuported disk.
I spent maybe 40 mins on the phone to them complaining of the error ect. I said "i was trying to trade in my console to get a new one. The guy at the trade in used a program called xval and he said that my console was flagged for ap 2.5 challenge".
I stated that i had my games bufferd in the disk cleaning machine and now black ops is working but still the same error with mw3.
He explained there is a problem with activision games and there team is working on a patch for this problem.
He checked my console serial number and said that there are no issues with it on microsofts side and not to worry about the flag as it is not showing any indication at there end.
He said "People are flagged all the time for issues an they will be removed over time, if i was going to be banned i would have been banned straight away".
He advised to try and keep disks clean and in the box when not used ect to expand there life.
So im quite lost now xval is saying i have a flag for a ban but microsoft are stating i have no flag and my console and everthing is fine there end ?

no it does NOT tell you that you are flagged for a ban - it just tells you that you failed an AP2.5 challenge. An Ap2.5 flag is NOT going to get you banned !

Jerk, when you download the title update you get the unsupported disc error?
It seems like you never downloaded it.

Get the game to boot, you should know how, then download and install the title update.
It should still run after that and you'll be able to play on live.

Well to be fair this is the first time i have heard this. I have seen so many replys to this thread stating "They have been flagged for a ban".
Everywhere you look someone "has been flagged for a ban".
I thaught this is what happend when you failed a A.P 2.5 challenge.

ok so i havent connected to live since a bit before the silent update and have unrecognised disc error on all xgd3 back ups. tried this method to no avail, all disc are verbs and passed imgburn verify and kprobe results were great.
This has also happened to my friends slim. no xgd3 back ups will play for him after playing original ac revelations.He said it took ages to load the first time the disc was loaded.

Could the silent update be applied through disc as neither of us are connected to live ?

same with every thing tho, when the burner max dw was out we had same thing over and over again... luckily i am not a mod otherwise id be banning sh*t loads lol.

The reason you cant find battlefield 3 is because the update is too big for xbuc to host (168mb)

you have to download the torrent version of it... I would give you a link but all i have is a demoniod link for it...

Oh and for all you people having trouble after system caching the memory it is because some updates dont get deleted by this method, to delete it you have to:
1.Click on the hard drive(NOT USB)
2.Click on Memory
3.Click on Games
4.Find your game and click on it
5.Delete the title update in that folder
6.Happy gaming
