I can only get it to work without my HDD installed. So only on usb. When ik copy the gamefile onto the hdd it will still say unsupported disc.

Someone knows a solution?

Confirmed working on Batman, @ oekloen You may have to use horizon and plug your xbox 360 hard drive into your computer with transfer kit, or manual hookup, and then put the file directly onto your HDD.

What exactly does this do? Does it bypass the AP2.5 checks so that you won't get flagged?

Edit: im an idiot maybe I should read why this method was published in the first place - oh yeah for people whos games had stopped working due to the dae silent update and had been ap2.5 flagged. I'll read before posting next time.

Ok I just want to know since I tried loading the a XGD3 backup yesterday and said "Disk Not Supported" and I was on Live, I was flagged? So far I'm able to go online fine with other games. Need info please I'm really confused since I'm new to this.

its just microsoft made the newest title updates to included the new ap2.5 checks and when we use the older title update its using the old ap2.5 which matchs the data on the disc so it play. when we get a prompt to update the xex is already executed in ram so it plays on without rechecking the ap2.5 sector! hope that helps

so from what I've read in the OP - does this mean that I can still use my Forza 4 Disc 1 and 2 backups that were ripped with the previous dae.bin with this "workaround" and be "safe"?

It worked for me yesterday, doing it via USB stick. But today it is back to disc not supported. A new DAE?

This is for MW3

I just did exactly what was on the frontpage, it worked. However I did not get prompted to update, and XVAL is still clean. Does this mean I was lucky enough to disconnect from Xbox LIVE before my DAE.bin was updated?

Would be very carefull with this, i got flagged immediately after trying to boot black ops, didnt know there was an update.
Just saying if you do this method and it fails, you get a flag..
You get flagged ANYWAY

No it still works fine - you have to delete your system cache every time you go on live as it downloads the update to your hdd each time.

When playing offline you dont have to.

No of course not - you're gonna get flagged regardless

This is to get games working again that didn't work after the DAE silent update

its like some of you post without reading anything.

*sigh*

You get flagged ANYWAY its nothing to do with this method.

Everyone has been flagged with an AP2.5 failure after the silent DAE update - this method gets your games working again as a temporary workaround. Next time you post actually read and understand what you are responding to next time.

For the record no one is gonna get banned from a couple of AP2.5 flags - even originals get flagged - you're gonna get banned probably after 20+ flags as that means you're obviously a pirate.

how can i check if my xbox is flagged or not ?
if your AP2.5 / XGD3 backup doesn't boot. Rocket science.

this is not working on any of my game on a 4gb slim. From what I've read am I gonna have to take the 4gb memory unit out?
Nope. Works fine on 4gb slim
