thnx mw3 is working fine again here also, BF3 didn;t needed a patch its still working

I tried this method on a Xbox 360 Slim 4gb console. Didn't work. The users with slim consoles how did you get it to work?

This was working and stopped for me. I am trying different variations...

EDIT: Idk what I did, but it is working currently...

Im having no problems, but im playing my originals however a friend of mine on XBL just asked to see if i knew what was going on so i informed him of the silent update and work around. He then said "all i did was recover my gamertag and all his backups are working again". I dont know how that works or if its true but i have no reason to think he is lying. Please dont flame me, im only passing on information that might help towards a solution.

There is a rumor that another update was sent out to reverse this as there were too many complaints from legit users......

Grow some balls and connect to live and try the game again :)

I got another update, but this works on and off. It's like I have to remove the file from the USB and from the hard drive I copied it over to. Then use the Horizon method to put it back on.

As for an update to reverse, nothing I've seen yet.

only i have one question, ive been looking on the forum and i cant seem to find the help i need,

i have been playing mw3 online, obviously now with the silent update i cant, until now, but by doing your method above could it be possible to use my flagged liteon 74850c to backup xgd3 games? meanwhile i have bought a brand new untouched liteon 74850 which hasn't arrived yet

It's not the drive what's been flagged it's your xbox...

oh, so my xbox is now f**ked for playing xgd3 games unless they're originals? as i tried to backup modern warfare 3 again with the liteon 0800 v3
firmware and in xbox backup creator the start button is faded out, ive never had this, no probs anyway

what do you recommend i do buddy?
