I was led to believe that I could get my CPU key with just the CR3 Lite and a DemoN. Is this true? If so, could someone point me in the right direction for getting my cpu key?

I have a Trinity with dash 12625. I was able to dump the NAND no problem, but I don't really know where to go from here. I get the impression that I need to load Xell onto a NAND then boot the console. If that's the case, where you you find instructions for that?

Instructions are in the jrunner PDF that comes with it. You need to install your chip so that when you write dell it actually boots. Those instructions are in coolrunner install tutorials. Did you read martins rgh roadmap for newbies?

I had read the RGH 'roadmap' for n00bies and the J-Runner instructions. I think I was just feeling a little over my head and didn't want to just start clicking buttons in J-Runner without knowing why. I still don't really understand the roll of the DemoN beyond the dual NAND feature, and everything I had read and seen talks about JTAGS and QSB's. I followed through with the J-Runner instructions and I'm up and running. Thanks.

If you only want to read/write to the NAND and program the Coolrunner, the J-R Programmer v2 is perfect for this. I'm not sure why you're trying to use a DemoN.
