Alright so I am new to this modding world but have experience soldering, I actually replaced all the LEDS out of my gauge cluster on my 2011 TC. I just want to make sure that I somewhat understand this concept, and I understand there will be some difficulty with the software aspect of this modding.
So I have been reading all the different threads on here and have researched which Xbox360 that I have and products I need to order from TX.
Xbox 360 - 250GIG - Dash - 16547 - 9.6A - MFR - 1-20-2012.
Thus being said it should be Corona V1 - which I will want to do a RGH - mod
I will need to buy a Tx Slim Demon to run Dual NAND and a Slim Proto V2
I also have J-Runner "which will pull the key from the motherboard using Demon" and Xex Menu "which allows me to see the HD and any files on it in a sense it is the dashboard for the 2nd NAND. Also it looks like there is Freestyle for the dash on the 2nd NAND.
I am just trying to cover the basics so I do not order the wrong parts. If anyone has any additional feedback or quick notes that I should know please let me know.
Thanks!

DemoN can read and write the nand. In combination with the slim proto v2 it will run smoothly so a good choice since the proto v2 is the best there is now.

The original nand stays on the xbox side, the hacked image goes to the DemoN. On the hacked image you can run Freestyle Dash.

Jrunner is the program that you can use for getting your CPU key which is important to build a xebuild hacked image. Jrunner actually takes you trhough the whole rgh process, so it is not only for the cpu key.

Besides the DemoN and proto v2 you only need your soldering skills/material and understanding of how the hack works, this way you'll prevent that you have the need to come here again for support.

If you want to also play backups off your original games on the retail side when going on live, you will have to flash your drive also with a hacked firmware, which in your case (MFR date 1-20-2012) probably will be a 16D5S drive (never sure till you really open the xbox and see the drive).

In this case you will also be needing an LTU2 replacement board http://team-xecuter.com/ltu2-firmware-pcb-launches-august-5th/ to write the firmware to and you will need also a x360 usbpro v1 or v2 to do this job. (if you buy a v1 you will need an extra conectivity kit like the ck3i) The LTU firmware requieres RGH anyways and since you are doing that already it is easier to do your drive also straight away.

Thanks for the information!! This helps out a lot. I would like to play games that's I have backed up from original copies. I have noticed that some people are downloading hacks for certain games. With running a dual NAND xbox , can you post these files in the retail side to use on these games or can they only be seen with xex menu and used on the hacked image? I have read that people are using XBLE to play games online, are they using this and playing games from the hacked image?

I will do the drive at the same time also, probably do a new fan as well.

This isn't something we provide support for here.

We will provide support for you to install and use Team Xecuter products.

Thanks, I'm sure I will have more install questions.

When using the 360 usbpro , will any standard cd drive be suitable?

I was curious about the TX 360usb pro 2- I answered my own question though, I just read up more on about it. With the new TX 360usb pro 2 I won't need to swap out the board on the disc drive, it looks like this will put me thru the process on ripping games to the hd

You still Will need the usbpro to flash firmware to your replacement pcb IF you want to use backups on the retail side. Read a little more, I think you are a little overwhelmed with information right now.

Yeah I'm a bit overloaded with information. I just read about the USBPro and it will flash my firmware. Sorry for the confusion. Is TX still on schedule to release another batch of the USBPros February 2014?
