So I want to make sure I'm understanding all that is JTAG. I've been researching for a while, but want to make sure that my ducks are in a row. The console I received is exploitable, and I've started the process by adding the XECUTER PRO 2 Kit, I've raised the solder points in anticipation of the NAND-X, I'm going to update to 7371 from Uber's sticky, and I've bridged UT61 to protect those efuses. Please correct me or advise me if anything is wrong, or something better is available.

1. After I make my nand copies, (double, and triple check) and go to write Xell or Xellous, I should choose Xellous as it is a newer version of Xell correct?

2. When creating Freeboot it will create an IMAGE of the latest JTAG Dashboard (12625) so that I can use my Kinect on it correct? When I turn the XBOX on it will boot into the NXE dash (7371) and I will have to choose to boot into the Freeboot dash manually, unless I use a program called Dash launch correct?

3. XEXMENU allows me to play games that are installed on my HDD. With this will I be able to install emulators and run the roms as well?

Is there anything else I should install on my JTAG? Thanks again for all the help, and the great products.

*EDIT*

WARNING FOR NEWBS LIKE ME, DO NOT PROTECT THOSE EFUSES UNTIL AFTER YOU DO THE UPDATE TO 7371. I learned the hard way. It will fail, and you will need to unsolder that bridge for it to update.

I believe everything there you have is correct, except when you write your freeBOOT image it will boot the kinect dash you're thinking of freestyle dash which you have to boot manually.

Thank you for your response. I had not read anything about freestyle dash, so I guess it's time for me to start.

Thanks again.
