How do i do this? I have ISO's of xbox games on my HD. Can i ftp them to my xbox and play them. I dont want to waste blank dvd's burning copies, since i can load images off the xbox. How is this possible, or is it?

You can extract an Xbox ISO into its directories and files using Qwix. Then, just FTP all the files/directories over to your "F/games/" directory. Nothing else needs to be done.

Whoa - how much is this costing you?

The average game is around 2GB in size. Even having 20 games backed up is at least 40GB in offsite storage.

What sort of costs are you paying for this?

kind of sounds like a warez ftp to me which means it doesnt cost him anything and the games arent his backups.

thats just my opinion!!!!!!!

Yeah dude, if this is not your legally purchased game then don't post about it.

And if you're looking to make a game an iso, or extract an iso then craxtion works great for that. However making xbox games iso's in an unnecessary step when burning them to disc, but is good for archival purposes.(less files to scan on your hd if you're to search for something or do a virus sacn or something similar)

I'm closing this thread. Basically the guy hasn't gotten back to me at all and I can't help feeling (call it intuition ;) ) that the guy's telling porkies.

If you have the money to store backups to a private FTP server then

a) burning them to DVD wouldn't be a waste.
b) you have the money to just buy another copy and forget about trying to back it up!
