Hello,

i just installed the modchip xecuter3 to my Xbox, all right.

I´m going to do the next step, flash the bios.

I have been reading a lot of pages, forums , etc...

I have downloaded

XECUTER2 BIOS MANAGER v2.2

and

X3_1959_v16plus.bin

But, when i try to open the bios image with xecuter2 bios manager 2.2 i cannot open the image X3_1959_v16plus.bin.

Can someone give me a clue about how to continue ???

There is a Xecuter3 bios manager version ???

I cannot find it, and , is too much dificult for me read english quickly

Thanks in advanced

you don't need the bios manager. just flash the bios using the x3 1959 bios. just make sure that you are using the correct bios for the xbox version that you have.

a good start on how to do this is the following link: http://home.comcast.net/~x3guide/

ok, so if I do not need x2 bios manager, then I guess I just rename the x3_1959_v1.6plus file to BIOS.BIN? Load a dummy file and the bios file on a CD-RW. Cause i can get my Flashbios v3.0.1 to load and flash my bios using x2 bios manager to set up the x3_1959 then using CD-RW burned from nero using all of the correct settings i found on the xecuter site. The FlashBIOS runs ok and flashed the 1mb flash. My banks are set to 1 and 2. Then it shuts itself down. But when I reboot it just FRAGS. When I read the readme for the x3 bios it says to make sure to use the v1.6plus bios for my v1.6 xbox. Do I just reanme that 1.6 bios? It doesnt load into x2 bios manager. What procedure do I use for loading my v1.6plus bios onto my CD-RW so I can flash it using CD-RW?

Liteon 93450 firmware LT mod -

wow, lots of posts today, hope someone has the time to help me =D...

So im about to put LT on my liteon 93450 .. this is probably the 29th box ive done, but the first of these (93450)....

My question is when "cutting" the board with this hack, via the tut. it says to not cut too deeply..

What exactly is "too deeply", can anyone gauge how much pressure i should be putting on my hobby knife to make these incisions? (black lines V and l)

Thanks gang!!

Enoff pressure but not so much that you can slip and cut more traks than needed :) , a simple hobby knife will do but with a sharp blade!!!

PS: keep enoff space from the points you gonna solder wen cutting the traks, always dubbel check if it's well cut!

A simple check with an DVOM will tell you if the circuit is open or not and you will know if you have to go deeper or not.
