Just had another try using the latest version of best pig and still nothing. Has any one actually tried this on a jasper and got it working?

Hi mate, check xbox-scene forums 'reset glitch hack' post. There is a link to a different python build. Like you i was tearing my hair out trying to get the glitch to work on a jasper 512mb. Used this and xell booted straight away. I used the dangerous prototypes coolrunner II board though. Just check the last few pages and you will find the post with the link to the file. I had the exact same problem with my Jasper. It wouldn't do anything. I thought it was my C-MOD board. I ended up shortening the wire for CPU_PLL_BYPASS by about 3-4 inches and it worked right away. I also shortened up the others for good measure. The wire I used was the thinner Kynar 30AWG, but I don't believe that matters as much as the length. I have it mounted now sitting on top of the video jack with very little wire slack. I hope this helps anyone out having the same issue.

I got mine to work with a 10nF cap. It wasn't very dependable. Just wanted to grab the DVD and CPU keys, so once was all I needed.

Has any one on here tried this on a Jasper yet? I thought I would give it a try on one I have with no key, all I am getting is a blank screen and flashing power light.

I have run into the same problem with two Jasper 512's .

I was wondering if you ever got this worked out?
