So today i got delivered my slim 9504 glitched with Xecuter Coolrunner, i try it for a while, i install assassin's creed on hard disk, try a few other things, the boot is below 30 seconds average, everything seems to work fine. Untill i shut it down for the last time and try to start it by pressing the eject button, which should load the xell loader. But then nothing happens, no informations on screen, just black emptiness. I reboot the console and try to execute the freestyle dashboard with the power button, but nothing. I also try the NXE but still nothing. What happens is that my console starts running, the front led and the fans turn on, but then it doesn't load the dashboard. It just stands there with my tv completely black (yes, the video cable is at its place, tried both HDMI and component). I tried to let it run for a while (it's been more then 15 minutes now), tried a power cycle, but nothing. Anyone knows what could have happened? Did i miss something when i tried to boot the xell? :frown:

you mean one of the soldering points may be broken? or maybe is just the wire going in places it shouldn't?

ok, i don't know what happened, i opened the xbox to check for the green led, and it was flashing every 4 seconds as supposed to, and then suddenly the xbox boots correctly after 40-50 seconds. It doesn't have the hard disk right now, so it loaded the NXE, anyway it seems to work now. What the hell just happened?

probably placement of the wires... sometimes for me, if there was pressure on one of the wire, ie from the dvd drive, it wouldnt boot

can i remove the drive without having the front leds costantly flashing? it's kind of annoying.
