Going from 1959 to 3108

Okay, I`ve searched this forum thoroughly, but I just cant seem to find my problem in particular...

First: Some X-Info
X3 Chip
V 1.1
Stock switch (no Pro)
build 1959

Now the Problem:
Whatever method I use, I always get the Flasprotection is on errors.
Http, ftp, harddisk...

They all just dont work, using X3 Config Live OR FlashBIOS etc...

YES switches are turned ON ON OFF OFF OFF,
YES the internal (chip) switch is turned off.

Xbox is working like a charm on 1959 so it has nothing todo with wrong soldering or installment.

I just want to update the 1959 to 3108.

Im out of options so please some suggestion would be great.

PS. If by some magically enchantment I didnt searched enough and this is a very common problem I`m very very sorry.
I`ve been searching for a solution now for 2 days on this forum and others and just cant seem to find one...

try disconnectig the switch, you dont need it. see if that helps.

There should be a Red led on the chip indicating that flash protection is off. Is this the case ?

guys its fixed, the company here that installed the chip said they where certain that the chip switch was off, I opened it up and switched it and the flashing worked...

Im sorry I myself didnt make a visual confirmation off the onboard switch...

That company has modded numerous boxes so I thought they where right, o well no harm done and they are still a very good company.

Actually going to order a Pro-Panel one of these days from them.
