Hi, I hope this post is in the right place sorry if it's not, I am going to RGH my Xbox 360 S 4GB trinity mfr: 2010-11-16 and need a few questions answered,

First, i'm from Australia, does the CR3 Pro Ultimate Kit below have everything I need to RGH my trinity?

Do I have the right tools, will the solder I have work fine? sorry if the pictures are to big.

Thanks

You should be ok with what you have.you might want to get a multimeter as well if you dont already have one.

I have only tined and soldered wires together but do have some knowledge of soldering points, I should be getting a multimeter tomorrow if I can find a good cheap one. Thanks for the answers:)

Tinning wires is nothing compared to proper soldering, so I suggest you get in a good level of practice before even attempting this. Learning to solder is paramount for success.

My cheap soldering iron died so I bought this new one, but how can I tell what temperature it's at? there is no manual http://imgur.com/M5rpZbx

oh, and will my flux pen be fine or should I get flux past?

Honestly? Trial and error, since you don't know what temperature the dial relates to.

A flux pen is ideal for proficient solderers whereas paste is far more forgiving.

This isn't a site for soldering help. I would suggest you subscribe to a similar forum (as SMD soldering is universal) for help with that. Once you're happy with your soldering, it would be time to move onto attempting. This will probably take you a couple of weeks.
