just painted my xbox yesterday. unfortunately is was windy and you can see how the spray paint blew underneath my tape in some spots. but oh well it looks pretty good

should i add red in the remaining black spaces? or should i ditch the paint and just make it a carpeted xbox? oooor should i leave it the way it is?

LOL, I didnt even see that. I have a clear jewel too. I used the oven cleaner method, but I first bought an off brand *kroger* oven cleaner since it was cheaper and that just ate away the XBOX chrome paint. I finaly bought the real easy off stuff and that got the paint off real good. But now my entire jewel is clear. What could I use to repaint the xbox logo in the jewel.

model paint...since the brushes are tiny and the paint is good.....i used acetone by the way to remove the green...now i just need to polish the whore

By polish do you mean do the sandpaper thing so its like glossy? O and will try the model paint.

to polish your jewel you should use brasso it works wonders. after sanding my jewel it was all scratched up. i used brasso and no more scractches at all.

Get a more flashy jewel and tidy up the over spray, rest looks really nice.

I would suggest you paint the buttons gold as well. And then choosing "orange" in the X3CL for LED color. That'd look nice! Just a suggestion. Nice work.

You could of just got a metal skin for your xbox, it looks the same as a skin i saw on decalgirl.com:
