As far as quake... I hate FPS's on consoles so... not too interested in it.
in the latest oxm pgr3 looks a bit nice as does n4speed most wanted.
on a side note: any photos of the internals of the console yet? not that i would be able to do anything with them, things like that just intrest me thats all. ( sad aint it!)

Both systems will have killer apps.
If they haven't gotten an xbox to play halo 1 or 2 then I doubt any PS fan boys are going to jump ship for halo 3.
If anyone decides on one of these systems based on just one game I feel that they'd be wasting alot of money.

These systems, especially the 360, are ment to be media centers not just game platforms. They're taking on-line browsing, Audio and Video chat, On-line gaming, home theater and home stereo and rolling it all into one system.
I've said it a hundred times before... the games might be cool but it's the apps and the bennies that are going to sell these things.... i.e. what can your system do for you.
