i know i'm going 2 hear bout this.... but i'm alot more excited for the ps3. Still not to sure if i'll buy one but i'm like 99% sure i won't be picking up a 360.

No, I heard M$ are taking pre-orders for Xbox 360. Everybody has to choose before launch date wether or not they are going to buy one.

Madden isn't going to be anything special for the 360. Like the last couple of current gen iterations of Madden, it will just be updated rosters with a new gimmick thrown in.

Who cares that Halo3 is comming out at the same time.
Do you really think that someone who already owns the 360 is going to be at the store thinking... " I was going to buy the $300+ PS3... but since Halo3 just came out I'll just get that and $250.00 worth of pudding to swim in!"
If you own a decent PC and have played any FPS's on-line you'd prolly agree with me that the Halo series, while fun, isn't anything special when it comes to on-line play.
Halo is not the end all, be all that people make it out to be... and IMO it's release date isn't going to have a huge impact on PS3 sales...
Reverse the roles.... if the PS3 was out now... and GT5 or "Splinter Cell 6 - Grope in the Dark" or any other highly anticipated game came out when the 360 did... would you actually buy one of those games instead of the 360... if you had the money?

Honestly, with all the power that they're packing into these systems... what kind of games will utilize that power the most.
I'm hoping for a Far Cry type of shooter, in the sense that you can see clear across the board.
Imagine snipping targets from the other side of an island!
Also I would like to see a Mech Warrior game done right...
And a better X-men based game.
I think with either of those two you can incorperate tons of charactor development, which the new systems should handle pretty well.
What I really want is a City of Hero's type game where you make a good guy or a bad guy... and build his charactor up, also his reputaion... so almost like the MMORPG but in a single player light.
I'd also think if they made a street fighting type game with gangs and clans...
So you create a fighter... and it playes like Tekken (my fav) or DOA but the twist is, you join a clan... and they have a clan house... whenever you win you get money for the clan house... and they can buy equipment which will give you power ups and such... or they can buy cool stuff which will raise the clan status or just look cool...
Then you challenge other clans... you can have one on one fights or big brawls and the winners gain experience and money...
And then when you go to another clan's house or do-jo you get to see all the crap that they have bought.
So if you go to a clan that has nothing on the walls then they prolly suck and you can win, but if you go and they have all sorts of shwag then you know that they win alot.
We'd call it 'Catalyst - Because I said so!' - that's got a good ring to it!

i think perfect dark zero might be kinda cool and i say might because the original is gonna be tough to live up too. as for halo 3 well alotta ppl know i ain't a halo fan so i leave that one alone by saying it'll probably be a good game like the rest but not the holy grail of gamin sum people make it out to be.
