Hey all,

I don't know if you all have seen this yet, but it's really, really cool! It allows you to view satillite photos of any location on Earth! As a bonus, it also acts as a quasy-mapquest and tells you about what is in the area of where you want to go.

However, the best part is finding your house!

Grrr - I was going to post on this in General Chat a few days ago and forgot.

It's such a cool concept - anyone who hasn't already got this on their PC should do so immediately. It's as addictive as searching for stuff on the net - you go looking for landmarks. You can take snapshots too - check my attachments :)

Not all areas are populated at the moment, but what is populated is nothing short of stunning.

Catalyst, can you help me with the Q I asked Martin C ???
About the links...
Sure. The old server address was teamxecuter.com/forum

That one died and the new one is teamxecuter.entryhost.com/forum

If you click on Martin's link and then type entryhost in it...

like this

http://www.teamxecuter.entryhost.com/forums/showthread.php?p=137518#post137518

It'll work.

Martin just has to fix the links in his sig.

I do too, now that I think about it! :)

So where do you work Rookio?

Looks like you have a huge Air Conditioner and a big Incinerator...

Is it a Crystal Meth lab? :D

Doesn't look like these pics are very up to date. There was a highway extension added about a year ago near my house, and it isn't pictured when I look for it.

No, you are right. It's not completely up to date: I guess it takes awhile to scan the entire planet at insane resolution... I know in the picture of my house, there should be a shed. We put it up, like, 3 years ago, so it should be there, but all that there is is a dirt patch. But hey, it's still cool, eh?

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't... what this information worth to you?

LOL what you can see is actually part of the Kodak Manufacturing plant here in Australia. It was recently closed, but the offices and service deptartments are still on site. For a little while anyway :)

Besides... I'm an American!!! Being obese and oblivious is our duty as citizens... I think it's in the Constitution.... somewhere on the back or something.
