ANSWERED Got a bit of an issue with a Hhitachi 0500 DMDL10N drive

Just been given a 360 to flash along with the LTU replacement board, however upon stripping down the drive the LTU board does not fit......

It has 4 Ribbon cables for starters and the LTU board only has connectors for 3. The original PCB layout is also very different to the LTU one.

What have I missed??

The LTU PCB won't fit in a Hitachi drive chassis.

Use a D4S or D5S drive chassis instead.

I kinda gussed that after seeing it in bits, I must admit though I have not seen this information anywhere even after trailing the forum this evening. Clearly Ive missed it
