Hey guys this is my first post since joining. I came here after ordering my X3 to read up on the chip and at first I was overwhelmed by reading the amounts of posts about people having problems with an install. [fragging etc] At first I was wondering what I had gotten myself into, and even contacted one of the other guys seeing how much he would install my chip for. After reading through the threads, and by the time my chip arrived, I felt like I had a very good understanding of how the chip was to be installed... Well, even though I was nervous as hell while installing, I must say that I didnt have one problem. Why is this? [some of you may ask] Because I took the time to read the "Stickies" and read other posts/tutorials pretaining to installing.

To keep this short... Thanks for helping the less fortunate, so I could learn from their mistakes and have the confidence to install my first chip.

And to the ones I seen posting negative stuff lately, blow me! THE CHIP, BIOS, AND SITE KICKS ASS.. NUFF SAID!:D

I have to agree with Xkaper, I was also overwhelmed on my first reading of the boards - having only installed wireless chips before and then finding out that my XBox was a 1.6b did not help. But after reading as much as I could and having the forums open on my PC while doing the install everything went well..... in the end.

I had to borrow a mates 1.0 box to get the chip to flash (it was supplied with FlashBIOS 3.0.0! and I only bought it a week ago!) but once flashed with Flash BIOS 3.0.3 everything was groovy!

Thanks to everyone here who helped out with valid answers it helps alot! :D
