Got X3 Chip but with 2.6 instructions

Once chip is installed, what will I see and what will I have to do, ie what bios etc. thanks

done that but when u read the bios creation tutorial it says to add bios to banks 1 &2 in xbox bios manager which equals 512k but every screen shot I see, they are flashing the bios with 1024k - see my dilemma! or do u need to add it to all 4 banks? I have the m8plus_16 bios.


My console is a 1.6

flash it with the x3 bios. x3_1959.bin is 1024k that's the one that you need.

Thanks, just downloaded that from xbins. Do i need to add to that to xbox bios manager 2.3 to create the bios file?


Oh and change the switches to on on off off off?

no, just flash it via http or iso which ever you prefer. personally i would do the http method. easy a pie.

just leave the switches alone once you have flashed the chip.

the flash protect switch is independent of the other switches. it just enables or disables the flash protect function of the chip so that you don't flash it by mistake.

and if you want to flash a different bios on the other banks or boot to other banks that can all be done in x3cl.

I was just wondering what kinda of DVD drive does the new XBOX 360 S come with?
Can it be flashed?

Im sorry if this is one of those questions that have been asked a million times but ive been looking around and i can find any info on it.
