GENERAL GOW3 backup black screen

hi guys,thought i'd post here for some advice.
i flashed a mates xbox liteon 7 series with new LT2.0.
i burned my first xdg3 game(Gears of War 3) with newest imgburn.
i followed the tutorial on imgburn site,and it completed without errors.
put disc into console and it said reading,then Play Game,then the GOW3 pic came up.pressed select and game booted to the intro.as soon as it reached the main GOW3 screen,the screen faded to black and seemed to freeze the dash.i couldnt return to dashboard,but could eject the disc.
had to reboot console to get to dashboard again,i treid a retail game(blackops) and all worked fine.
my media are verbatim dl discs,and never had a bad burn before,but this is first ever xdg3 burn..
any advice would be gratefully recieved,cheers steve

Hi Steve, Have you made the back up yourself?
Is the drive definately on LT 2.0 as it will still say play game on 1.91

Use clone cd and put speed to 2.4 that should work it happened the same to me then I did it this way and has been working fine ever since

Does your original play fine? As asked by FlashDrive360, the log looks ok you will need to try the original game disk of GOW3. Install it to hdd then try using the copy of your game. See if it works fine then.

If that works then try ripping your game again and burn it, i have GOW3 backed up using XBC, burned using imgburn (latest) at 3x with verbs and works fine. (on Lite-on 0225, TX PCB)

unsure as to whether retail GOW3 boots as mate is busy at work and hasnt turned console on yet :(.will post back as soon as i hear from him

I have same problem.

but i play 4 days with no problem gow3, till now . Want to play but freeze (black screen) after first videos (epic,microsoft videos.) ??? any solutions ? tnx for help

in reply,GOW3 retail works as does warhammer space marine.
couple mentioned that my jflog says i had flashed 1.9 instead of 2.0.
i think i may have done it wrong actually.i didnt check which dashboard console is on. i will tomorrow when mate brings xbox round.
now if it isnt 13599 then do i revert to stock,update then flash to 2.0?
previously i just tried to flash from 1.9 direct to 2.0
i believe i have to manually load the 2.0fw into target fw then spoof then save and write.

sorry i havent replied earlier,mate has just turned xbox on and let me know.

update....
i reflashed liteon with 2.0 properly.
now GOW3 backup doesnt freeze the console,but just sits at game load (after intro and main menu.i chose campaign and new..the tips are scrolling through the screen,but the load symbol just spins)
i burnt using imgburn 2.5.6 at speed of 4x
is speed to high for XDG3 games?

same happened to me( the continuous loading screen)... had to burn it at 2.4x to get it working. It works now, but when i install to HDD it stops at like 57 %. try 2x maybe that'll work :)
