GPU Heatsink? (A simple Yes/No question)

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but i searched for "GPU Heatsink Switch" and found nothing.

Is it possible to switch out the heatsink from the Xbox V1.0 and put one from a newer Xbox (one without a fan) in its place?

Furthermore, would this cause any problems?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes you can. At least a friend of mine did that for a xbox that kept overheating because the fan on the GPU heatsink died.

Of course others may feel otherwise about it :)
