gpu temps (this is new)

I have a rayteck look here http://www.raytek-northamerica.com/cat.html?cat_id=2.3.5 this is what it is when I check the temp of the GPU on a 1.0 or 1.1 it is only 38-45c but on the 1.4 and the others that dont have the cooling fan on it but have a larger heat sink it is 51-67c and that is a huge difference does anyone know why (I have tried it when I turn off the cooling fan off for a second just to check the temp I thought that it was because of the cooling fan that is was cooler then it was still the same and if I lef tthe fan off then it went up slowly)

More periods are definitely necessary...but

it's likely just not producing the same temperature in the spot you're trying to measure. Those things aren't really meant to monitor the temps of electronics...infact nothing that's very far from within the chip itself won't give a very accurate reading.
