Great Deal

went looking yesterday for a used XBOX to mod for my 10 year old son to take to his mother's house and use (as this is where he lives). Hit a pawn shop and they didn't have one, but someone was trying to sell a broken one that the pawn shop didn't want. It is a V1.0 with a dirty disc error. $20.00 later I'm happy with what a great deal I just got. Next, we (my wife, son and myself) go to see my sister-in-law who has just broken up with her boyfriend and is moving to a new apartment. He owed her money, so just told her to keep and sell his stuff (reall winner!). Beautifully working V1.2-V1.5 (haven't checked for sure yet, but built in 7/03) for $30.00.

I've fixed the version 1.0 with a dvd drive I had, and now I have 2 good boxes for a total of $50.00! Next, it wil be an X3 for at least one of them to go home with the kid.

why does nothing like that ever happen to me.. it is the same with those free 200gb h/ds people have been getting and stuff like that, i have read about on this forum.

Damn I just bought a new xbox for my kids, not only did I have to pay full price but it took me a week of going to stores to get one,.NIce find.

beats having to get some at ebay. I've been getting mine from ebay but they were like $60-70

My friend got a brokken xbox.. with everything working from a crackhead for 5 bux!.. hahaha. only thing wrong with it was the PSU, and it just nedded a little solder to fix it.. worked like a charm.. I was alittle pissed/jelous, but things come to all of us rigth I got a 50 dollar xbox (well my sis did) for 50 bux, with the dvd kit, and all the cables.. working, and she gave it to me The same friend that got the 5 dollar xbox... got a moded xbox, with a 120 GB.. for 100 bux.. what great deals

Think thats good. How about getting 2 xboxes for free in 1 month. My friend was moving and he did not want to take it with him so he gave it to me.(Nothing wrong with this one. v1.0 ) The second one I got from my brother. A lighting storm got that one so I just replaced the PSU and it was up and running.(v1.1 ) I have an X3 and pro switch for the v1.1 and the v1.0 I am going to mod soon as I get enough money. I love this world.

Yeah, the good deals are there. It's the right place right time thing. Usually doesn't happen to me, so I have to share when it does!
