Green/red Flashing, Can Anyone Help?

WHEN THE X3 IS CONNECTED, THE XBOX BOOT ONCE SOLID GREEN FOR A SEC, THEN CUTS OFF. IT BOOTS A SECOND TIME THE SAME, THEN BOOTS UP AND FLASHES RED/GREEN. WHEN I DISCONNECT THE X3 FROM THE PINS, THE XBOX BOOTS NORMAL. I CHECKED ALL MY SOLDERING POINTS, AND THEY ALL LOOK GOOD. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP? DO I HAVE A BAD CHIP?

Either you have a bad solder (most likely) or could be that u dont have the right banks selected on the switch. My box frags (Flashing Red And Green) when i have banks programmed as on off off off. This could be ur prob too, try doing off on off off or maybe on on off off. Hope this helps

My xbox will go on off on off on with the chip disabled and it wont boot the xbox bios or let the chip turn on..can someone help me with this

response to computertrendy, No, the xbox has blank video when booting with the x3 connected. w/out it connected, the xbox boots normally. i was thinking if there was a soldering problem, it wouldn't even boot up normal. the grey wire had a crimp in it, so i cut the wire shorter and reconnected it, but it still does the same thing

i am having the same problem with the x3ce. just installed it. when i just quick tap the power it comes up and blinks green/red, if i hold the power button it comes up normally. the lan and hdd lights are operating normally. i'm pretty sure all my solder points are 100% but i am gonna check again.

scratch that. i managed to miss one tiny little solder point on the lpc...everyone double, triple and quadruple check your work. miss even one solder point and it no worky. xbox is working like a champ now. pays to read up...

i also have a problem with the x3ce, it's not workin on my 1.6b. each time i turn it on there's a flashing of red and green.The harddrive doesn't turn on and my pro switch doesnt' light up. i am confuse can you guys help me

What happens if you get a green/red light that isn't flashing...just a solid green and a solid red after an x3 install and everything with the chip and the xbox works normally?
