I installed the xecuter 3 mod chip on my xbox and flashed the 3.0.1 flashbios with an X3 that i got from the fxp site. After flashing my system (everything goes just as the tutorial says) except after it turns off on its own. When I start the xbox again and it turns on and off three times and then the eject button goes green, red, green,red...I checked all my soldering and the conections and they all look good. The flashing also went down as it had to. What is going on?

ive the same problem, ive a xbox 1.4.

And what was the name of the file you flashed? Exactly.

Ive got the same problem.. the file name was X3 3294.bin! I flashed my 1.6 with this from a 1959! the 1959 worked excellent and after the flash i get the same problem as described above! i have tried every poissible combination on this site to try accessing the backup but this doesnt seem to work at all! setting my switches accordingly, pressing power and eject simultaniously, ive checked my connections! the closest thing i have been able to get is my chip purple on the inside of the logo, but the outsides blue... and still a blank screen, and in some cases i have been able to get my LED to stay orange when I set my switches to "off off on on" any suggestions, please help!

When you upgrade to the latest bios, you should reset your bios to default first.
and your filename was wrong, since you got a 1.6 you should of flashed with X3_3294_v16plus.bin. The backup bios should work for you since you got 1.6 and off off on on gives you orange which works on 1.6b but not 1.6. Give the backup another go, it just needs the right touch to turn purple properly.

Chrisdekelver: If you get a some sort of purple you are in backup. The led's aren't pefect for making purple all around (some are better than others). But if you get a blank screen, you may have the 1.6B. What name is on the ram chips on your motherboard? Samsung or Hynix?
