hi, i'm trying to run greg hasting's tournament paintball from hdd on my xbox and it just won't load. i tried patching all the .xbe files in qwix and that changed nothing, so i went into msdash and checked the time and it was right(some games require this). don't know what to do next. any ideas are appreciated. i'm running ava with an x3 on a 1.4 if that helps.

there's a certain patch you need to get
search google: Tournament Paintball Usa HD FIX Xbox-RiOT
and go to the piratebay link and then it should be on that page. it should be an .nfo file and an .xbe. replace the .xbe and you're set.

That fixes the run from HDD issue, but my IGR doesn't work with it for some reason. Can anyone else confirm/deny this and with what bios/chip?

Playing Offline until LT
I'm planning to mod my xbox that has a Hitachi drive. Since it's an old drive I don't expect LT to be available for it any time soon. So I'm wondering if I can flash it with iXtreme 1.51 and play offline until LT comes out. I tend not to go on live anyways.
Only problem is when I search around I see posts about data stored in the NAND, specifically secdata.bin, that the Xbox keeps a log and then uploads to Live when it is connected to the internet. But I can't seem to find anything really concrete on this issue. Every post I've seen on it so far, and I've looked at a lot, is either speculation or referencing speculation, and the more concrete ones are usually about what happens to the file after being banned.
So my question is, is it safe to do this with my Xbox, or should I wait for LT? Is there a chance that LT won't be released for Hitachi at all?

You should be fine OFFLINE with 1.51 until LT comes out for the Hitachi. Just don't play any games that aren't released yet and just to be safe, run all your games through abgx and make sure it shows up all green(not that it's necessary playing offline, but better safe than sorry).

Thanks but are there logs that the Xbox makes and then uploads to Xbox live when I play backed up games? Since the new ban wave detects the difference in timing between iXtreme firmware and original firmware, I assume that's done by the Xbox itself and then uploaded to Microsoft and not only done when the Xbox is online?

its up to you to take the chance. ive kept my benq 360 turned off until lt lands. dont wanna risk getting banned, but it'd been good for months on 1.61 but i got a liteon with lt so just been using that. id be very careful as it can detect the firmware.

I haven't even turned on my xbox since 10/31 when the bans started... Flashed to LT, turned it on and there it was ./ Banned.
So you never know how safe you are / I must have been flagged.
