Yeah, I was bored and decided to mod my 360... I did, now I don't know if I did it right or not. I figured I could just copy xbox 360 and xbox games to the hard drive then burn them. Turns out it's much more complicated than that.

Is there a quick and easy test? Like a small .iso file I can download, burn then put on my 360?

First things first - do your originals play ok? If so, then at least you haven't messed it up

If ok, then in order to test if hacked properly you need to backup using either your xbox drive connected to your PC (in a special mode), or using a Kreon capable DVD drive.

yes, they do work.
being the genius that I am I didn't buy DVD+RW DL today because i planned on backing up one of my XBOX1 games and I thought XBOX1 games were just regular DVDR. Can I still use them or will I be forced to wait till' tomorrow when I buy some DL's?

Easiest way to backup games would be purchasing a Kreon drive and using Xbox Backup Creator.
