I bought the sx pro. Then find out my switch card reader is defective. so i bought a new switch and a new license for os. But the new switch is patched so i have to wait a while, which i dont mind, but just wondering when you guys able to crack the new switches, are you going to release a new dongle and new os or just an update. Really dont want to buy everything again if possible. Thanks.

For those in Canada, Ontario looking for a XAW1007xx Switch, go to Walmart!

They have thousands of old stock!

(I work at Walmart, I can see regional inventory, and all of the Switches are pretty old, with maybe 15% of them new 1009 stock)

What about XAJ40055xxxxxx?
Any info?
Follow the instructions in the OP and you will get your answer. Further more, if you report your findings I can update this list.

Now I've been waiting for a month and was wondering, will the upcoming 2.0 version deliver a solution for the patched switches? I know it's TBD, but it was said that the solution is being worked on and also that there's progress, and I would just like some reassurance or something. For example whether the sx pro dongle will even work anymore or do I sell it, or will there be a new implementation of it of some kind? I'm asking because, sadly, buying an older switch is not a solution for me and I would like to refrain from buying anything else that might or might not come in the future.

I know just as much about 2.0 as everyone else. There won't be any leaks. You will have to wait for the official announcement from Xecuter.

I've the same problem on a XAJ7004 the sx pro blink in red and then doesn't work black screen, there's not alternative method to inject the payload via an usb-c cable and after that use the sx pro ?

Are you saying you are able to inject via another device but NOT with the Pro dongle?

I don't have try that, but on my switch is not possible at the moment with the pro dongle i hope with os firmware v.2. I want to use the dongle and sx os because I've the license on that. I've see that the jig use two pin but there's other versions of the jig on internet that not use the same pins. I want to try to use this alternative jig for go in recovery mode, but I'm not sure if is possible do inject the sx os, can be an alternative.

If your switch is patched (which it might be). The version of SX OS will not matter. The exploit that is used to allow SX OS to run is what gets patched.

If you read the entire post I provided an exact way for you to test your switch and see if it is patched or not.

If yours is patched, then you have to wait for another exploit chain similar to the fusee gelee exploit to be publicly released that allows unsigned code to run on your switch.

FYI - I didn't see this until after I purchased SX PRO. I have downloaded and installed the SX OS 1.9 version. I have XAW40008 and did have issues when I tried to do a request/activate the license (basically crashed and then had to power down), but I was able to get it to boot, so I took the license request off the micro SD, manually activated and then I was able to boot the custom rom. I have been able to use the INSTALLER. So far the only issue I have noticed is using some homebrew app. I will report if I have any other issues.

Mine is XAJ700464XXXXX. Seem to belong to the patched version.
What I see after running through the steps is this.

C:\Program Files (x86)\TegraRcmGUI>TegraRcmSmash.exe -w biskeydump.bin BOOT:0x0TegraRcmSmash (32bit) 1.2.0-2 by rajkosto
Opened USB device path \\?\usb#vid_0955&pid_blah_blah_blah}
It just hanged there after that.

What is so confusing?

Serials beginning with XAJ4:

XAJ40052XXXXXX (and lower) - Not Patched
XAJ40053XXXXXX - Possibly patched
XAJ4006XXXXXXX (and above) - Patched

XAJ40003741883 would be lower than XAJ40052XXXXXX so.......

Hello,

Thank you for your support.
I've tried with my Switch with S/N: XAJ700455537XX

I got 0x0002 which is totally odd (Not 0x0007 or 0x0000 as explained in your guide)
I try to inject anyway payload with TegraRcmGUI with SX OS v1.9 in the MicroSD card, nothing happens.

Could you help me to find out what 0x0002 means?
I'd like to use your custom firmware as soon as possible.

I bought a new Switch 2 weeks ago and I updated the firmware to 5.1.0
I also played online few times Mario Kart.
