Hacking the Xbox 360 DVD drive

Seems M$ has commented on the fw hack.
The core security system has not been broken. However, it is reported that the authentication protocol between the optical disc drive and the console may be attacked, which if accurate could allow people to play illegally copied games. Our security team is aware of this and we are investigating potential solutions to this issue. The Xbox 360 platform was designed to be updated, and we are prepared to respond appropriately should any unauthorized activity be identified.
Everyone should keep in mind that Microsoft invests a great deal of time and effort to ensure that Xbox gamers enjoy the most powerful and exhilarating game experience available today. Genuine and unmodified Microsoft Xbox products provide gamers with the reliability, security, support and dynamic gaming experience that they expect. Microsoft works with a large group of legitimate business partners to sell and service genuine Microsoft Xbox products. Microsoft does not authorize or support any products or companies that modify or change the Xbox console in any way.

I have already backed up my entire collection. I'm just waiting for this app to be released so I can see if they work.
There is a few guides out that tell you exactly how to make a back ups of your Xbox 360 game. Infact check a few threads down and you will see one.[font=verdana, arial, helvetica]ok... there is no guide on making backups yuet. and barely one for hacking the firmware. jsut give it time people. look at how long the first xbox took to hack lol. xecuter says theyw ill do it then they willd o it. this isnt xenium...

I've had my 360 since mid December. The thing is a f**king brick that I occasionaly play a game on. All other entertainment uses are worthless. I get more use out of my modded XBOX than the 360. Truth is my XBOX was a brick as well until I discovered the use of a modchip... It finally got used alot and not just for games..
f**k Microsoft and it's warnings.. It's become another government agency for the most part that puts out proprietary hardware/software much like Apple has always been doing..

The video on the home page of teamxecuter, and other sites, where it shows the xbox360 apart, you can see the dvd rom, they show us a burned disc being played, called PG3. You can see the AV cord going from the xbox to the TV. If im not mistaken, dont most TV's now adays have 2 AV inputs. One in the front, and one in the rear? couldnt there be another xbox360 console not shown on screen be playing PG3 on the TV through the input on the back? I want to doubt this, and believe this is a really a hacked dvdrom... just a concern...
