had a problem with my x3 bios plz help

ok long story short,my xbox got unplugged in the middle of flashing.after that,i turned it on and it started fragging.when i flashed it but failed the x3 switches were like this on,on,off,off,off .i tried everything but got nowhere,i tried the backup by pressin eject,power at same time.i took the chip out but now the xbox displays a universal error message #05.i put it back in and put the x3 switch like this off,on,off,off,off and got some progress,the xbox doesnt frag nemore,instead it stays green for a while then turns amber,i still get no picture or nething,Whats going on?ne help would be appreciated.

Whats your Xbox version? 1.6 ?
If so that would explain the amber light for OFF ON OFF OFF.

If ON ON OFF OFF OFF worked though, then the backup bios SHOULD work. The X logo should light up purple. Keep trying that, and make sure the power/eject adapter is plugged in.

yea its either a 1.6 or 1.6b i no that much.i have an xecuter 3 ce chip in it but ive heard 1.6b causes a lot of problems with xecuter 3 chips and flash bios.the chip i have is flash bios 3.0.1 mb that has something to do with it. if this is true then does neone know what i have to so to fix it.

1.6 works with FlashBIOS 3.0.1 (ON ON OFF OFF) banks 1-4
1.6b works with FlashBIOS 3.0.3 (OFF ON OFF OFF) banks 5-8
Backup bios has FlashBIOS 3.0.1 (Need to update only if you have 1.6b)
That backup bios SHOULD work if you have a 1.6 and it worked previously.
If you have a 1.6b, then keep trying people have been able to get it to go over 50 attempts...

1.6b only causes problems if people don't flash to ON ON OFF OFF because they flash over their only working bios. Even then it is still fixable.
I have one and there's no problems flashing because I'm not stupid enough to flash the wrong bios.

Try the backup bios, that is the best and easiest solution. Just flash the correctly bios with is the X3_3294_v16plus.bin (for Xbox version 1.6)

just one question.how do i flash it again.even if i wanted to i cant because the flash bios screen doesnt show up nemore.im gettin no picture and f i turn to on,on,off,off,off then the xbox frags. i turn to off,on,off,off,off and it doesnt frag but i still get no picture.all i wanna do is get to the bios screen again .if neone knows how i do that plz reply

and about the bios u said i need, i have one its called x3_3294.rar that i got from xbins but its 3.1mb is it suposed to be that way or is it the wrong one.

Try powering on by simultaneously pressing the power and eject buttons to boot from the backup BIOS. Like Poida said if you've got a 1.6b you may have trouble getting this BIOS to work.

The file you downloaded is a RAR archive. (Like ZIP, but a competitor.) You'll need a program that supports RAR files such as WinRAR or Zip Genius in order to uncompress the archive. You'll then see the 1MB BIOS files that are inside.

Yeah, forgot to mention that...
Backup bios = Pressing Power+Eject (Purple X Logo)
No actual switch settings for it.
