GENERAL had demon install took m$ update on main nand now 360 will not boot

i had demon install all working demon nand and 360 nand took the update on 360nand for live now 360 will not start even tryd to put orig nand back on 360 still know luck

did you update your LDV? can you boot xell?

When you say wont start what do you mean. Is it black screen or does it get stuck on the Splash screen.

The LDV is irrelevant at this point. It problem is with the retail nand. With the demon you dont even have to change the LDV on the Glitch side and it will still work regardless of how many times you update the retail.

dash was at 14699 ldv was 8 i took update on orig nand to latest dash now the center green light just stays on even the nand on demon will not boot win i put the orig nand back on 360 it gives me 3 flashing lights so the ldv chage to 9 so i chage the ldv to 9 in the orig firmware and the center green light stays on to i dont get it

That is becurse now you have updated to a split cb, and as far i remember you can't boot that when cr is soldered on as rgh 1

If you was on 14699 originally, then you would have had RGH1

Because you are on the newest dash. You need to change the wiring to RGH2 due to split CB now.

So long as you have your original nand dumps and cpu key you should be fine

Who installed your Demon without putting you on RGH2 first? Thats just sloppy.

i did but i did not know i had to put on rgh2 just read the walk through on how to install demon did not say any thing about put coolrunner on rgh2 just still learning

i have the qsb install allready just found out its not rgh2 what points do i have to move on the qsb and are there any points i can leave on the qsb

so you are saying that you could have a demon on dash 13604 or whatever and retail on 15574 as long as the ldv is the same it should still work?

Absolutely.

Any pro installer would have advised you of the boot times (or not booting at all) with RGH2, which of course you needed if you were going dual NAND. RGH1 on a Falcon is a breeze, RGH2 is the exact opposite. Again, another reason why we advise all customers it's for pro installation only as these factors must be taken into consideration. The fact you don't know what you're doing and are now asking for support on it, negates the advice given to you on the card.

My advice is to send to a pro-installer, something you should have done to begin with.

As a complete noob that started with a demon, there is no need to state you need RGH2 as you don't. You need rgh2 if you have split cb, which would be a result of updating the dash to 14717/14719. That is independent of anything demon related.
You can keep it RGH1 and have a glitched nand and a fusion.
The demon CAN let you load retail and a glitched, you just didn't see the connection of if 14717 or higher, then RGH2.
As my friend with a Falcon right now is debating to update to split to stay retail/glitched, Or go glitched with a demon. A bit of a waste, but his choice. He has another system for LIVE use.
