To those people looking to get into modding your 360 or have recently modded your 360. Do not do a half a$$ job. If your opening your 360 to flash the drive then your breaking the warranty anyhow. If your trying to keep your warranty in which I question why anyhow consider this

Keeping warranty in which is completely wrong but people do not need to lie. Why?

Keeping the warranty is making a promise to MS that you will be sending your console in twice a year cause yeah they break that often. You also promise your self for atleast 4 months out of the year your not gonna play your 360 since it will be away at MS. Makes no sense

Or you tell your self not to play your 360 heavily cause it will break if you do.If you have kids or you are a kid this does nothing when the average kid plays 6 hours a day on 360. The road to shipping off your 360 will come very quickly.

Full Mod beneifits are or can be

Your 360 will run forever. How you might ask?

First
360's biggest but easiest MS overlooked problem as we all know is the heating issue. Why not add upgraded fans to keep it cooler? Helps alot

Second
the fact that you own your original game and now have a backup so that if you have 2 or more 360's you can run your own lan parties without having to buy 2 of the same games for each game your play? A saving that can be in the thousands very easily. If you have kids younger kids that play the 360 they will scratch the games and rebuying old games to have sit on the shelf or by the time you replaced the scratched games your kids are prolly over that game and ready for another. I know a guy that has purchased 4 copies of GOW since it came out because between him & his kids they scratch them from abuse. Wasted money!!! Give it to a charity if you want to throw money away.

Last but not least if your gonna break a four to five hundred
dollar toy to play games which is really still illegal to have backups what sense does it make to do it if you know by leaving it in its current state it will break on its own now factor that your playing that 360 more with backups its more chances of it breaking. Wasted Investment!!!

Textbooks tutorial isnt complete but more of the most detailed intro into the 360 modded scene then by far.
It doesnt state stop their nor does it say continue but without it being always being written you should be doing more to proctect your investment. Example: They sell cell phones and also sell the cases does the manual say you have to buy the case No. But you know to protect your investment when using it heavily is getting one. Well so does your 360.

DON'T HALF A$$!!!

What I am saying here or typing here isnt directed towards anyone in particular. Also please dont comment on my bad typing it doesnt matter to me. As long as you understand whats being said.I oould sit here and type for days the pro's and con's but again I giving you the new modder or recent modder the best investment advice in words then he say she say.

this from a tread textbook wrote.

The fair use clauses in Section 117 of the U.S. Copyright Act of 1976 allow us to make one backup of any sotware we own for archiving purposes.

One original, one backup .. no more. If the original is damaged, keep the disc or pieces as proof and play your backup. You lose/throw out the original, by law you must toss out your backup as well.

So, for those looking for information on how to backup a backup, you won't find help here. Rip your original disc again if your first backup didn't work. And if you don't have the original disc anymore, then you shouldn't have the backup either.
end

i dont think you can play both orig and backup at the same time.i think that is a dark side thing.
