GENERAL HALO 4 special Edition Pictures

Hi guys i have opened a Xbox 360 Halo 4 special edition. It looks to me like a Corona V1 mobo but i could be wrong though. I dont know if these pictures are enough to say for sure. Any help would be appreciated

It looks like a v1 - see if you can dump the NAND using SPI (NAND-X, JR-Programmer etc) (unless you'd rather not mod it lol).

Ok i still have cables left to dump the NAND but it came with dashboardversion 15774.

I would be able to dump the NAND but i would have to wait to grab the CPU key for the CR3-DGX right?

It would still be great news tough that its corona V1

Also is it possible to get the Sound from the board so we can flash it to other Xboxes with Sonus editer?

That's correct, you can dump the NAND, but you can't do anything with it right now.

That is indeed a Corona v1 - you can tell this by the Flash Config (Flash Config: 0x00043000) .

Great news! lets hope it wont be to long for the CR3 pro & CR3-DGX to be released.

I see Jrunner automaticly remaps bad blocks, it would still be better to resolder the wires and see if it makes good dumps from the first time right?

I'm sure the v4 has the missing resistors near the J2C3 header meaning the NAND can't be dumped unless the pads are bridged.

Somebody please correct me if I am wrong .

Yeah but if you look closely @ c2c3 it has the resistor missing which is present on a V1 and a few below J2C3, is the log from this board ?

Yes the logs are from this motherboard, and its allready closed up again sorry. But if i can dump the NAND it should be V1 right?

Yeah if you got it to dump it's deffo a V1, strange though every V1 I have touched has had resistors on the starred areas C2C3 in paticular on your pic

How did you dump the nand without resistors? I have same mobo but cfg 00000000 without resistors.

I just solderd the wires like you would on a normal corona V1 i got bad blocks tough wich i never had before i dont know if that could have anything to do with the unbridged resistors or just bad soldering.

Anyway i closed the case back up since i tought it's a V1 its going open again when i have a CR3 pro

VERIFY. A Corona v1 and a Corona v3 seem very similar to us N00bs. Until Xecuter released his guide here I wasn't sure. You have to check for the POST_OUT pin. Read the guide.

I opened it back up again here is a close up from the resistors.

Yesterday i did a console it had 3 resistors missing and it wouldnt dump at all untill i bridged the 3 resistor pads. (MRF 2012-07-24)

This one dumps fine but DGX does nothing so i asume its missing the Post out i cant say for sure because i dont have the X clamp removal tool yet. (MRF 2012-08-31)

You will need to bridge the points were the resistors are not there to get the dgx to work, correct me if I'm wrong
