hang up in the final step of modification

Hi guys
I read the whole guide and watched a video tutorial too.
i have a ms25 and im using the latest extreme firmware.

In the finap step.. when i choose the xtreme sec. master in MTK flash . i get the line whcih says Port:d000, Master/Slave : a0

it hangs up then and nothing happens.

any solution for this problem guys?

Really need to do this/

yes this is a easy one and ive found works.
1 leave the pc how it is hanging put a blank dvd or film in the drive let the drive spin and it shoud flash.

2 if that dont work reboot the xbox with a blank dvd in the drive .and iot shoud flash.
if that dont work i might need moor info on what sata ports your useing and things like that

i tried both things and unfortunately they r not working.. it still gets stuck on that point..
i tried both ports for sata . primary and secondary.. its the same thing..
What should i do guys ?

I have a VIA motherboard. everything else seems to be right in place.

i think my dvd drive is locked.. its a refurbished xbox. some one might have flashed it before..and then locked it cos it went for refurbishing.

what programs are you useing to flash your drive

Sounds to me like your VIA chipset isnt compatiable, same problem i had until i bought the 6421 chipset. good luck

You're probably not following the procedure right.

1. Boot To dos and turn 360 on.
2.Samread 1234567 12345 hit enter
3.turn off 360 and choose port
4.wait 8-10 secs and turn 360 back on.

If still doesn't work try inserting the 0800 disc at the beggining, wait 15 secs take it out and then continue the procedure.
