Hi all,

I will be RGH my phat xbox soon but I am just wondering what people do, or recommend for storage.
I already have the 120GB HDD but I want to run a 2TB HDD. Do people recommend to buy a 2.5" and stick this in the xbox drive caddy or should I just buy a USB HDD and plug it in so I have both drives?

Im just wondering if games run OK off the USB HDD or not.
Also if you recommend both where should i stick all my main installation files for running the glitched dashboard?

Thanks.

Its down to preference really i think. I have a 120GB HDD for DLC, xexmenu etc and i keep my Freestyle Dash files at the root of HDD. All my games are on my 1TB USB and never had a problem :)

Cheers Yorkshire-Modz.
It seems a bit wastefull to drop the 120GB so if games run fine off a USB one then i think i will do that.

So you install your freestyle dash to your xbox drive and just install your games to the USB drive.

Do i need to prep it first? I have read it must br fat32 but how do you transfer 8gb iso's to a fat32 filesystem?

Yeah, its not so much installing, more just like placing the files
Only prep is format to Fat32 and your good to go
This should help explain games:

Something to add to that
GOD games no longer needed to be kept in the content/0000000000000000 folder as long as you setup your game paths in freestyle dash it will pick them up.

Thanks again.
So do you use jtag rip or god. I think i would use god. I think i would just need to format the usb drive and then create a folder called Content and in that a folder called 0000000000000000 and then nameofgame folders. Then use iso2god, copy it to my usb hdd and away i go!

I always use god containers. Just format the USB HD to Fat32 and make a folder named "360 Games" or whatever.
Pop disk in, install game from MS dash. Once installed run NXE2GOD and make a note of the folder number/game name.
Once that has finished go to content/0000000000000000 and the numbered folder of the game you installed will be in here somewhere, copy that folder to USB:/360 Games/Game name/HERE.
Then you just set the game paths in FSD settings to point to USB:360 games and away you go
Are you planning to boot straight to FSD? :)
