hard drive files

ok here's the deal,

i have ordered a new "blank" hdd for my xbox as i knacked up my old one, this alos means that i CANNOT ftp into my xbox so,

what files do i need to download so that my xbox hdd is the same as the one which ever xbox comes with???

is it just xboxdash.xbe?

i hear that the slayer's install disk will put back the original files on your hard drive. i don't know for sure since i have never use it. but it may be a start.

Hi,

That's correct that's the easiest way for you to do it, just get a hold of a slayers auto install disc v2.6 preferably and your done.

Alternative is if you still have your original hdd just ftp it over.

If you don't use Xbox Live! you don't NEED your orginal dash.

If you have an X3 chip you can FTP to your Xbox through the X3 Config Live! Menu.

You can also format your new drive there too.

But yes... if it wasn't your stock drive that burned up and you still have it, put it back in, FTP through X3 Config Live! and copy ALL THE FILES AND FOLDERS ON YOUR C DRIVE to your computer.

After you have formatted your new drive in your Xbox, FTP the original files to your new drive through X3 Config Live!

Make sure your new drive is locked and you should be good to go.

Foundmy is a Will known Site... Where you from from all depends on what Country you are in... I believe foundmy is in Canada

I recommend getting something much newer like probe 3 or anything that is based on the pmt hack.
