please can some one tell me how to format a drive and create partitions not sure how to go about it please help.

first of all you should backup all your old hdd files onto your pc via ftp and then slap the new hdd into the xbox. go into x3 config live and go on new hard drive setup, click format all drives and it will create all the drives partitions you will need. Then put all the files from the old hdd that you put onto your pc, back in the new hdd via ftp.

Don't forget to unlock the old hard drive before you remove it.

i have an 80 gb hard drive i'm trying to prep to go into a box with an xecuter 2.6 chip. i have the evolution x dashboard up and working on the original hard drive and i've made backups of everything i need. if i just put the hard drive in with the evox boot dvd and look in the settings it says that there is 0 space on all the drives.
