JTAG Hard drive Problem

i just JTAG my Xbox 360 (Falcon) With the latest dash and its working fine, the thing is when i attach the Hard drive and try to play Body count it ask to make an update to play the game but if i remove my hard disk i can play with out problem i don't know if i need to do something to the drive.

ps i formatted the HD already still got the problem

your on track with the solution frazzled mate its 100% the avatar update its trying to take, i have seen this very thing and get asked about it by almost every jtag customer who doesn't take a set up hard drive off me. you should be binning the system update really for the stuff on your jtag. anyway to fix the problem just get the 13599 dash update from microsoft on a usb and update the files that way, it wont add the dash cos your already on it just the missing avatar stuff which all has to be on the hard drive.

i will grab the dash update from MS and not yet i will do the bridge later, anyway i dont have this xbox with internet access

ok i didnt see that part, i was using like 3 different guides but thanks again i will do the bridge first

Update

Bridge resistor and update with a disk. now the Xbox it's working fine
