Hard Drive Problems

I've spent the day reading around and haven't found what I'm looking for. I got a X3 chip on a v1.6 and got everything with the bios set up but the hard drive I can't ftp to. I didn't save the c and e drive but did back my other xbox c and e can i use that? When I install the old original xbox dire there is no files in the folders, and when i put in the new hard drive that i cloned on my other hard drive there is no files that show up either.

Can you elaborate a little bit? Im not quite sure what you mean by this. How did you clone the drive? I am assuming that you cant boot to a dash since there are no files. Also, how are you trying to view if there are files on the drive.

use a evox boot disk.
