Hard Drive Question

I purchased the excuter2.6 chip. I am going to purchase a harddrive to upgrade the xbox. Is there any particular type of harddrive I should avoid? I heard that you have to use an ATA 133 type drive and that SATA and ATA100 drives can't be used. I am not sure why that would matter hence the reason I am asking.

I personally also have an xecuter 2.6 ce and I was able to replace my 10 gigger with a Seagate Barracuda ATA 100 hard drive to the tune of 120 gigabytes. Everything has worked fine for me and my throughput with my notebook by ftping hangs at around 11MBps:D
Best of luck

The Xbox supports P-ATA only and will happily support anything from ATA-66 upwards.
