Hard Drive Swapping from 360 to 360

Just to let you guys know. I flashed an MS-28 for a friend of mine a good while back. Has iXtreme 1.2 on it now and running great.

Lat week he took his HD off and headed over to one of his buddy's house to play Halo2.

He got a call from that guy the very next day claiming that he was now banned from XBL on his "virgin" 360. His box has never ever been touched so I would guess that XBL saw all of the game saves somehow and that's what triggered it.

His MS-28 is still kickin' along just fine but his buddy's legit 360 is banned. Go figure.

very strange cause I been doing that all this time and never had a problem. You do know random bans have happen even with people that never modded the 360 before. Might be a freak incident or coincidence for that matter.

Do your friend with the HD every mod he game saves? what I mean is did he every use something like Xchange360 to audit his files on the HD cause to MS thats Hacking which can lead to ban

Who knows. He can barely turn the 360 on by himself let a lone trying to mod it...lol!
