Hard Drive Upgrade

Sorry if this is in the wrong section but it seemed the most appropriate at the time.

Right, I've found a hard drive on a website and was wondering if it would work by plug and play. The seller says it will but i'm not so sure. I'm in the process of modding my xbox with an Xecuter 3. Here's his discription:

"I HAVE FOR SALE A BRAND NEW SEAGATE 80 GB 7200RPM HARD DRIVE WITH SLAYERS INSTALLED. I HAVE ALSO PUT 25 GAMES ON IT FOR YOU , THESE ARE AS FOLLOWS: (lists games) PLEASE NOTE YOUR X BOX MUST HAVE BEEN UPGRADED TO ACCEPT THIS HARD DRIVE JUST PLUG AND PLAY GOOD LUCK."

Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you only pay him for the HDD. Since the rest of the stuff is illegal, he's not entitled to charge you for it.

Totally agree with this, the only thing that you have to be sure if this HD is lockable using for example CONFIGMAGIC... regards!

Just one more thing - How much do you think its worth? The guy says he's open to offers. (Had a start price of £9.99)
Pre-formatted 80GB on ebay is £49.99 (US$93.50)
Pre-formatted 120GB on ebay is £64.99 (US$121.56)
