Hard drive upgrade

Okay, I've already inquired about this once, but lost my thread AND don't remember getting specific directions.

Just a basic question (and yes, I've already searched the forum with no luck):

Am I limited to what type of hard drive I get when upgrading the stock hard drive in my xbox? As far as drives that are "lockable," should that be a concern when shopping? Does someone have a list of hard drives that are known to work?

Yes you are limited on what drives are lockable. There is a partial list somewhere, try searching here and xbox-scene. Making it lockable allows you to boot the MS dash again.
