Hi,

My flashing guy has gone to ground so it looks like I need to do it myself, so apologies for the noobness but we all have to start somewhere!!

I have had a good hunt on here and Google and have found all the software related parts that i need but am unclear on the hardware required to flash my benq.

The guide in particular was last updated in Feb 2011 and recommends CK3i & USB Pro.

Is there newer hardware I should be using?

Do I still need to connect with a SATA or is there a usb method now????

Many many thanks in advance

Best bang for your buck is an X360USB Pro v2, all in one solution that combines the Pro v1 and CK3i together into one device attached via USB.

right near the beach :)
X360USB Pro v2 and a CK3mini will work just fine you could need a Unlocked PCB too.
Honest to god, bro.. if you don't even know what model and type of DVD drive YOU have, why are you attempting to post advice?
