Hardwiring Wireless controllers??

I thought i had read somewhere that someone hardwired their wireless controller recievers into their xbox. Anyone seen this, I am thinkin about tryin it, if i can find someone that has done it to help me out. thanks

i have never done it befor, but all you do is cut the end of your controller off, the part where the reciever is, and solder the wires to the port, by matching colors. i think that is all you do, by my knowlage. mabey you can put a switch on like the red wire, or something, and then you can use your wireless or plug one in. then the whoel reciecer can just site undernieth your dvd drive. hope that helps

Here, just follow this tutorial. The only difference is that instead of modifying the RF remote receiver, modify the controller RF receiver. You'll just have to get creative on how to place the guts of it. Wire lengthing will be necessary, but that is easy. If done right, this mod would look hardcore.

PS: Bondo skills will be necessary. I would upload a picture, but it's not working right now with all this server jazz. I'll take care of it later.

If you did do it, would the wireless part of the conroller still be on the outside of the box??? If it is, where would you put it?
