Has Anyone Tried This Solution For Better Xenon Times?

I was browsing another forum and found this post by someone claiming its what he did for Xenon boot times in 10seconds. He did provide a video however the quality wasnt great, and you could only tell it was a non hdmi console (maybe an opus)

You can run Freestyle Dash on it and play games from and external HDD.

The only thing that as not very good about Xenons is the glitch time... It can take from 5 seconds to 40 minutes :/ I have a RGH Xenon that boots within 10 seconds every time. It is very stable, but you need to spend hours on adjusting the boot times. It took me about 3 days of work to get it to boot within 1 minute and then I just tried different wire types and resistors to get it to boot fast and stable.
I found that if you set the TX Coolrunner to "PRG" instead of "NOR" and solder wires from the DVD drive cable "3v3" and "GND" to the external power plugg "3v3" and "GND" on the Coolrunner you get MUCH better boot times.

Has anyone tried this? Wondering if its true, and I will have to wait a couple more days regardless.

I'm calling BS on the guy's claim because of that statement alone. Quoted from XBH:
WHAT ABOUT XENON:
Gligli and Tiros found that the Xenon CPU could be slowed down and glitched just fine using CPU_PLL_BYPASS, the problem was when de-asserting it to bring the CPU back up to full speed after passing CD authentication. The CPU would reportedly crash.

I can actually see it potentially helping with getting into Xell because you're moving the 3.3v power away from the other glitch signals by putting it on the auxiliary power plug. Some people were saying they got their Slims booting quicker by moving the red 3.3v wire away from the CPU_RST cable, so this could be a similar trick.

Khaine, as far as I can see the PRG/NOR switch only switches the 3.3v point. Just checked it out with a multimeter and there's no connection to the glitch chip's I/O pins, just to the various 3.3v voltage points.

Wasn't trying to flame, I quoted 'GHFear' or whoever you were quoting, not you. I've never seen files for Xenons but I'm going to see if I can turn them up now, as I'd love to test it out myself, got a few Xenons that need DVD keys anyways so no reason not to try glitching them into a dashboard as well.

I'll be damned, never even saw that in the changelog and I'm up to 2.052 already. Confirmed an image does build successfully and looks like it should work, don't have a successfully glitched Xenon sitting around to test until next week though. Thanks for pointing that out.

Lol no problem. Wish the other guy would post his results. My xenon wont power a dvd drive, and I'm not gonna power one externally. So this would be a nice project, if someone could confirm it worked.

Dude that video is suspect!!!! He has the system on when he starts without first showing it is a "nonhdmi", then when he is about to show the back of the xbox he pulls out a Blair witch project move and "drops" his camera for a while, picks it back up and shows the back of xbox. No confirmation it is the same xbox. Then tries to distract u in the end with his lamp xbox, ... And why so Damn dark.

And hard wiring +vcc to it does what exactly?

I think the noob is a little closer to home than you think.

he's saying lio_x is a noob,
because if you hard wire +vcc it in effect bypasses the prg / nor switch so the switch wont do anything
