Have just installed Xecuter 2.6 Modchip (Solderless V1.6)

Hi all

I have just installed Xecuter 2.6 Modchip (Solderless V1.6). Nothing working I am novice at this but i'll try to give some more detail.

There is blue and red light coming from the adapter. When i enable the chip with switch another red light comes on. The x-box will load its green flubber screen when the chip is not enabled. But when enabled When i turn on machine i get black screen, no sound, and red and green flashing light.

Any ideas???

You'll need to check the alignment of the LPC part, as well as making sure you have the spring pins in the right places.

I would like to also mention that no lights appear on the switch, what would be the cause of this?

Again, it's more than likely this is all due to the adaptor needing re-alignment.

Does the Xbox reboot 3 times before the flashing red and green?

It reboots three times before flashing green and red. What does this mean ?

I had this problem, have you tried installing the solerless xapter without the screw that came with the xapter and use the screw which is already in the motherboard. it seems that the screw that came with the xapter does not alow the pins to align properly in the holes. You know when this works as the xapter lights up with blue LED's.

i'm buying a Xecuter 2.6 CE w/ Programmer and was reading the guide on Xecuter 3 Installation Tutorial. I'm buying the chip witch is shoulderless. Do i have to skip the part in the guide which mentions anything about shouldering? or is there an alternative guide?
