Hello,

Years ago i used to JTAG and flash consoles the old fashioned way with out any of the new devices and now since ive been gone i dont have a clue what I am doing anymore haha. I want to have a Dual nand xbox and maybe just a jtagged or RGH one but don't know where to start and what to get. For the dual nand ( probs going to be installed onto a slim console) i think the demon is the way forward but what else do i need besides that? (also none of the shops seem to sell them anymore :s) and for the RGH/Jtag will be installed on a old phat.

So my questions are:

What new equipment do i need now?

Can you flash a DVD drive with out connecting it to the pc anymore? (with custom dash)

Where can i find a demon in the UK ( no where seems to have them in stock)

When you say easy to flash do i have to buy things to flash it now? and thanks for the website looking on it now :) also if i wait for the CR4 and get a demon will i need anything else to make my console a dual boot? like a nand flasher or does the demon do that aswell

U can use the demon to read and write. U don't need a nand x or jr programmer.
Depending on what motherboard u have. U may need the post fix adapter if corona. Also if its a 4gb corona then I don't think u can use a demon on it.

Phats can be flashed with onboard sata on your PC depending on chipset. Or u may need a via 6421 card. Slims struggle with sata. X360 USB pro is the best for phats and slims. Do more research.

RGH/RGH2 consists of easy steps but the most critical points are the wirings , if your wiring is good you can move on flawlessly:

Reading NAND till finding a match between multiple dumps and then save a copy .
Using J-runner to extract ecc file from nand then writing it to nand
programming then installing the glitching chip depending on your dash/console/cb version ( read more about this )
booting xell to get cpu/dvd key
using j-runner again to create a nand image using the cpu key
Flashing the new hacked nand ( updflash)

I started flashing xbox 360 back in the fw golden days ( 2009) , now i switched to rgh hack and its really great .
