So about 5 days ago I installed nand-x with the quick solder board (QSB) and jtaged my xenon perfectly with no problems all the blocks were the same on all three dumps. Everything went perfect so I left the QSB in place and put the xbox back together. Well At the time I thought I would like XB1 compatibility freeboot and now I don't, so I took the xbox back apart used the QSB that i left in there and connected the wires to the Nand-x and I opened Jtag tool and now I get "Could not detect a flash controller!" Im using the same computer, same usb cable, same usb slot. I would resolder the QSB but last time I did that it ruined the QSB and I had to buy another one. Any suggestions here are two pic of my QSB's.

Thank you in advance

This is something that seems to be happening very frequently lately to few people and I had the same thing with 6 boards lately. It could be just a poor soldering that has come loose but what's making me question this possibility is that I've been jtagin consoles hard core non stop for the past 5 months, so to some extend I know what I'm doing but these last boards have really baffled me.

If you got a multimeter try two tests, Test the points on top of the QSB on J1D2 and their relative points from below the board to make sure that they all made contact. And test all points on J1D2 to see if you get a continuity between any of the 5 points on there (yellow, orange, brown, black, red).

Let me know what your findings are.

Ir you already got Freeboot running you can flash your NAND without the need of using the NAND-X though using the flashing360 tool.

both sodering pics look bad. On the first one it looks like maybe 1 or 2 are not getting a good connection. On the second it looks like you got a bridge. Get some better pics up.

Yea sorry about the picture pos camera but I can assure you that non of the soldeing points are briged and all of them are connected. I do have a multimeter how would you like me to check it with nandx plugged with xbox power plugged in but not on or what. Can you tell me more about Flashing xbox 360 without the jtag cable? Thanks for your help.

They might not be bridged but they are still worth testing. Set the multimeter to test for continuity, then place one probe at a paicular solder point on the QSB and then using the other probe, test each point and see if you get a reading or not and if you do get a reading what level it is. Once you ran the 2nd probe through the other solder points on the QSB move the 1st probe to another solder point and repeating the same process until you tried all the soldering points on the QSB.

Here's a link for flasher360, you could just search for it from the main xecuter website or on the forums http://team-xecuter.com/nand-flasher-360-for-windows-v1-0-0/
