having a total nightmare ! eject button flashes orange

Hi as you can proberly guess I am total newbie to modding.

I have xbox version 1.1 + the Xecuter 3

any way I have followed the guide on this site step by step. Just powerd on my xbox and the switch at the front of my xbox (by the controler ports) is showing the colour red.

My xbox will then after a few seconds turn it self off > then turn back on again, then make a load beeping noise and turn its self off again.

Then after rebooting its self a few times it will stay on but the "eject" button is flashing the colour orange + my switch red.

after doing some searching around the forum I have learnt that red + green = soldering problems, but I cant seem to find out wot red + ornage mean.

can you help me out ??

well here is my ten cents. The only way you get orange is if you don't have your AV (tv) cables attached to the xbox unit. You also say it turns on, off again. That is called a FRAG and it usually means bad soldering job. So check your solder points. Hang in there.

Your Xbox is FRAG (Flashing Red And Green). That means that one of the solder pionts isnt good, or is touching 2+ points. Its most likely the D0 point.

I agree, the orange is from the lack of A/V cord in the back, and the red comes from the fragging.

Is it inportant to make sure that the wire is actually touching the points on the motherboard, or can you get away with this ?

Well I cant find the link, basiclly all it said was to check and recheck your connections... and then check some more. As the D0 point is the hardest, It is usally the most commonly messed up point, also it causes the FRAG symptons (I know I cant spell).

If you can take some pictures of what you did and upload them here or email ( [email protected] ) them to me I be more than happy to show you what is wrong. ALSO it could be the bios, but that is soooooo unlikely that I can say right now, thats not the problem.

Did plugging in the A/V cord stop the orange color?
Is you Xbox still FRAGed?

And I know I am kinda excessively posting on this fourm but I have all these thought but they come to me seperately, so I cant post them all at the samne time. Sorry if I'm bumping this above someone else whos problem may not get answered because of this.

Hi mate, I desolderd the DO wire (grey) but I managed to take all the solder of from the hole so I now cant see it att all.

as dont have any solder on hole now wot should I do ??? have I totaly messed things up.

starting to look a bit messey around the Do soldering point.

any advice ?

LOL... this same thing happened to me. But before you work on your D0 some more, check to see if the Xbox works. Did the D0 pad come off if so tell me?

That is your 1st priorty... then (AND ONLY IF YOU THINK YOU CAN SOLDER THE D0), solder the D0. OTHERWISE just tape it down on the top side (not reccomended by most people) I'll show you how to do that once your Xbox starts to work again.

Offline console..AP25 check corrupted profile?!

So I have 2 consoles, 1 for offline and one for online. I transfer my HDD from one to the other, same gamertag/achievements/saves. I tried NFSHP/ACB before realizing the new AP25 checks were out with the new dash update so I assume I was flagged/AP25 security...

NOW anytime I sign into my online Xbox none of my offline achievements are there nor is my profile I have to recover my gamertag everytime..

IS there anyway to unflag or unAP25 check my offline xbox so that I can still use it how I have been? I don't really feel like buying another xbox to mod offline just for achievements and this hassle.

Your Gamertag will do that if your swapping the hardrive from one console to another. Your ONLINE CONSOLE IS FLAGGED due to this happening.

No you can't undo the effects. your offline xbox is now basically banned. it will corrupt your gamertag and any game saves you access so you can only use them on that xbox.

I"m just playing it on my xbox that's "flagged".. i don't care as long as I'm still allowed to play on LIVE.. it can be flagged or not.. as long as i'm still abel to unlock achievements and its saving it online, i'm good
